ABOUT US

A PROJECT, A PASSION, A FRIENDSHIP

CAMUGIN IS A DREAM COME TRUE

Camugin was born in 2013 from the idea of a group of Genoese friends Gianluca Pezzotti and his sister Federica Pezzotti - passionate about cooking - and the professional chef Riccardo Nobile.

Our goal is to revive, every day of the year, the flavor and atmosphere of one of the oldest and most evocative festivals in Liguria: the Camogli Fish Festival. Since 1952, every second Sunday of May, the seaside village has celebrated its patron saint, San Fortunato, with a spectacular event: in the picturesque Piazza Colombo, next to the marina, an enormous pan fries about 30,000 portions of fish, attracting visitors from all over Italy and abroad.

Camugin – which in dialect means "citizen of Camogli" – carries on this tradition all year round, transforming it into a unique gastronomic experience that combines taste, history and conviviality. Because Camugin is not just food: it is a story of the sea, culture and passion that continues to live, dish after dish.

CAMUGIN: STYLE, IDENTITY AND PASSION

Camugin wants to give street food the value it deserves, transforming it into an authentic taste experience, with style, identity and credibility. Because street food is not only fast, but can also be delicious and refined.

With Camugin you can savor the world of ancient flavors of the Ligurian Riviera: the scent of the sea of Camogli, the soul of its carruggi, the tradition that lives in every bite.
